Can anyone confirmt he nipple length for the above wheels? I think they're 14mm but cannot be sure.
Inevitably I've got a broken alloy nipple so I am going to swap all the alloy ones for brass ones.

Can't help with the length, but I broke one on a ride up to the lakes a while back, just popped into a bike shop in Ambleside and got a brass replacement. A while back I broke another, same wheels as you btw, the alloy nipples on this kind of bike are a bad idea.
I'm going to rebuild mine with brass nipples.0 -
FYI the nipples are 12mm IMO - the original alloy nipples have a deep non threaded section, but the thread depth is the same as a normal 12mm nipple.
I've re-spoked my front with brass nipples on the original spokes. A quick tip for dismantling this wheel is to set the clutch on your electric drill to the lowest setting, and attempt to undo the nipples. The effect of the clutch slipping loosens the alloy corrosion and enables easy nipple removal - I found this better than simply wrenching away with a nipple key.0 -
what gauge are they? 2.0? I'm finally going to rebuild mine so just need to order a bag from somewhere.0

No idea on gauge but I purchased black Halo 12mm brass nipples0

As I am not building wheels at the moment, I have loads of Sapim 12 mm brass nipples in silver that have nothing to do... if you want them. I have also other brands and lengths, but only silverleft the forum March 20230 -
Very kind offer, Ugo, got some ordered but thanks0
