Hi guys,

I apologise ahead of this simpleton question;

When buying new front forks, what do you need to look at to be sure they will fit my bike? I have an old marin east peak 2004.

thanks,

Kieran

    2014 is old?

    My bikes must be museum pieces.

    Assuming you mean 2004 or so, straight 1 1/8 steerer, and similar travel.

    Brake mounts depending on what brakes you have/want to use.

    Make sure the axle is the same as your wheel and if the forks are used check the steerer is long enough for your frame
