What's the fuss with avatars anyway? They're a piece of piss to make, takes about 30 seconds in MS Paint, you don't exactly need to be a Graphic designer to do it. Find a photo, make a square crop of the bit you want to use, resize to the allowed avatar dimensions, save. You'd have to be a complete Ricco to muck it up.
