Good afternoon all,

Im after a new enduro bike and i like the look of the Canyon Strive 9.0 Race.

Does anyone currently ride the 2016 model, looking for Pro's and Con's including customer service experiences as i cant find a UK stockist.

Cheers

Lee

  • Canyon are a direct sales brand so they have no stockists or dealers. The only way to buy is ordering online. This means you can't try one for size or get a feel of it first. Customer service reports from riders I know are very varied, ranging from faultless to useless.

  • Yeah thats what im worried about.

I might pop over to the NEC in a few weeks to check out their stand. The bike reviews look awesome however its not much good if you have a problem.

The YT Capra is another contender put same example applies hence im not sure which way to go...
  • Canyon don't have a UK rep. The Canyons I have ridden have been rather bland, nothing special considering the top spec components.
The YT Capra is OK but a real tank on climbs and a lot of them have broken.
The other similarly priced, high spec German direct sales alternative is the Rose Uncle Jimbo. Nice bike and they have a UK rep (I have heard that YT will have a UK rep soon as well)
