Recommend a bike stand

I currently have a bike stand with a slot for the rear hub and it has served my bike for a number of years. I've got a second bike coming and could just buy another one. It's this one here:

It's a BikeHut Floor Stand. I've always wondered whether this type of stand could cause any damage to the rear forks or wheel due to the potentially high lateral force when slotting the bike into it and if the bike isn't perfectly vertical.
Hence, before I buy another of these, is there a better compact bike stand that is mechanically more sympathetic that this type of stand?
In particular I was looking at this one where you roll the rear wheel onto it:

However, it's twice the price.

I've never used anything else than a simple bike lift as can be found in old fashion bike shops.
Advantages:
Cheap
1 pull brings the bike to the desired height
No damage to paint
Perfect for brakes and drivetrain (stabiliy no problem in practice as most people have 2 hands), working on saddle and bars on the wheels)
Disadvantages:
Fixed location
Need ceiling for attachment.0 -

I have 2 of these, bikes have never fallen over.0 -

I ordered one of these in the end (it's very similar to the one you mentioned):

Annoyingly, I couldn't find the one you mentioned in the Stands section on Wiggle - if I had I would have saved myself a few quid!0
