After a new bike budget £1000 has to be a hardtail and xc orientated 100mm travel and light as possible? Open to all suggestions

I'd agree - go for the Boardman.

The only difference in the Reba RLT and RL is that the latter needs an allen key to adjust the floodgate.

The Team is barely better than the Comp - infact I'd rather have the Epicon of the Comp than the Recon fork.0
