Hi All,

What sh*te remains resident in your pannier or biking baggage?

I have Alpkit seatpack dry bag and an Alpkit handlebar dry bag; the handlebar bag usually has my change of clothes, shoes, towel and toiletries for the commute.

The resident rubbish is in the seatpack......

Waterproof Jacket and shorts
Waterproof thermal gloves
Survival kit containing; Poncho, thermal bivvy, bike tool, couple of small spanners, knife, zip ties in 2 sizes, band aids/first aid, firesteel, puncture patches, inner tube, tyre levers, compressed air cannisters and adaptor.

I don't think I have cleaned this out since I went mountain biking......some of this kit probably isn't required to survive London streets.

  • In my trusty Timbuk2 bag I have:
Tubes, levers, batteries and rubber gloves (stops my Germans getting oily) and puncture repair kit.
    Plus all my work kit.

In the bag under the saddle I have:
Multi tool(s), levers and chain tool.

In my "bum bag" I have:
    Tubes, batteries and levers.

When I go for a loop round before work I have my "bum bag" and saddle bag, when finished I grab my Timbuk2 and head off for work, hence the multitude of baggage.
It also means if I go for a ride out of work hours I just use the saddle bag and bum bag.

    Levers x 2
Tubes x 2 (used to be one but I had a recent bad experience where my spare punctured so I'm being cautious)
