Im thinking of getting a rigid 29er single speed for the winter. Are there any better options than this one?http://www.google.co.uk/aclk?sa=l&ai=CZnzfEdTzVZaHDOPPiwbf6Z6wB43yrpAH3fXK7aAB1f_Gg60CCAQQASDCgOMkKApgu_6kg9AKoAGfvZL8A8gBB6kCuU-SltjhuT6qBCdP0CSEFlHJ_p0C-bXfAomFyxEnzULpcKqAblqEm5-KtQmVoyWtFdmABZfgvAvABQWgBibYBgKAB8nC7QOQBwGoB6a-G9gHAeASjvnpvvrDgd1O&sig=AOD64_2SGLFRoR1QFh76AqnOgpNThEKt3w&ctype=5&clui=4&rct=j&q=&ved=0CB0Qwg9qFQoTCJ3ui7X88McCFUdbFAodULEK0g&adurl=http://www.tredz.co.uk/.Cannondale-Trail-SL-29-SS-Mountain-Bike-2015-Hardtail-MTB_73580.htm?sku=230722&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=AdwordsProductAds&utm_campaign=Adwords

Spec is OK, cheapy formula hubs (found on £350 bikes) and only MT2 are a bit of a disappointment when you have no fork or gears to eat into the budget though, decent rims and tyres.
On-One have the Inbred 29er SS frame and bundle for just £199, why not BYO? A lot of fans out there for that frame as an SS.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
Whatever you choose I would try and get a compliant fork.Bird Aeris : Trek Remedy 9.9 29er : Trek Procaliber 9.8 SL0

Not too worried about a compliant fork. It will only be a winter bike and the trails around here are definitely soft in the winter.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
