11 Chorus c/set - 9spd ultegra ?

Hi just bought a 20 year old Raleigh Titanium with very old ultegra components. - will a New chorus 11spd ultra torque chainset work ok with a 9spd ultegra cassette ???? . Cheers.

    Yes , a 9 speed chain runs fine over 11 speed chainrings.
    Difference in inner width between 9-10-11 speed chains is almost nothing.
    With a 9 speed cassette you can run a 10 speed chain too without any problems.

    Thanks. Keezh - I meant a used chainset it's not new. Glad it will work ok.
