I feel significantly better than I did yesterday, but this may change. I've just remembered it's Beaulieu Monday so will be ridiculously busy as people come in to buy stuff they failed to buy at the weekend. The good thing is I should get my annual delivery of Swedish beer.0 -
Poor guy on my bus this morning had a Monday moment. Timid looking fellow (possibly a chartered accountant) gets on the bus and had some how managed to miss the massive piece of tissue he's stuck on his top lip (shaving nic) the next second the bus driver applies the brakes and the man is sent sprawling in slow motion, desperately reaching for a pole to grab but to no avail and ending in a crumpled heap by the driver. Staggering to his feet and assuring other passengers that he's ok, hopefully this poor man's ordeal is over. But no, my son had somehow missed the incident and preceded to ask in a loud voice what had happened and "Who fell over?" "Was it that man?" "Why did he fall over?"

1st day back at the desk after 2 weeks in Italy and I'm sure my bike gear has shrunk in the meantime as this mornings ride felt a little tight.

Best way to get over the last holiday - start planning the next one. My main ski buddy has just split up with his long term girlfriend so my next ski hol planning is a bit up in the air until he sorts his head out. I've helpfully suggested going to a ski resort with a strip joint to cheer him up1st day back at the desk after 2 weeks in Italy and I'm sure my bike gear has shrunk in the meantime as this mornings ride felt a little tight.
Managed THIS whilst I was there though.

Heh! Been married 18yrs to my first girlfirend/childhood sweetheart. Been together since we were 16. Both 40 now!
