I hav a boardman 650b and cross threaded it while putting peddles on, however as i need it for work i just had to thread it all the way home its useable just.
So i need to buy a new crank, i have no idea what i need size wise etc i see it says alpha drive fsa however ideally dont want to buy the whole set.
Also on the back no idea if this is for the bike or the crank is A4C0978996 and CK-725/pd
Any help would be appreciated

Take it to your bike shop and get the arm helicoiled.
Single arms are not easy to find and you would need the same as fitted."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Windwave are the uk dealer fro FSA, and have stopped selling lh arms for the Alpha drive that you have0

Isn't the thread in the bottom bracket? The thread in the Crank arm is the extractor thread.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

My mistake. Should be able to helicoil it then.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Well thanks for the suggestions, not too keen on using a helicoil, however it just so happened that someone on ebay was selling the crank the exact one off another boardman.
So I won this for £20 so will take the arm off this and put on mine.0 -
Nothing wrong with helicoils. If done correctly it will be stronger than the original thread.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
