Help with buying road bike

So, My old road bike was damaged in a RTA and is now written off so I'm looking for a replacement. Unfortunately as a student I don't have much money and my budget is a maximum of £400 but obviously the less the bike costs, the better. I can wait a couple weeks, though I would need the bike by early October, also not looking to buy used as I wouldn't know if anything was wrong with the bike etc.

Anyway, the few Bikes I was looking at are:

Triban 500SE from Decathlon

The latter 2 have sora which is why I'm attracted to them, but obviously the Triban is cheaper.

I'd be grateful if anybody could offer any insight into which of these bikes to buy or offer another suggestion.

The Triban has carbon fork and very good reviews.
If I were you, I'll go for the Triban 520. Remember that buying cheap is buying twice...

My wife bought a triban SE a few months ago which was Sora equipped. Great wee bike.
