Hi everyone,

New to this forum and new to road cycling!

I am buying bike at the end of the month. Am keen to learn everything about road cycling and wanting to do trips of 40km or so at the weekends, also to commute to work (half an hour).

I have also promised a friend to compete in a triathlon with her next summer. Not really interested in getting a fantastic time - just finishing!

I have tried both these bikes and they feel great - am having difficulty choosing between the two though, any help or suggestions?

1)
Saracen Tenet 2 2015

2)
Scott Speedster 50 Triple 2015

Thanks for any help!

The Saracen is better equipped, I'd go with that, ride it hard until you destroy it then you'll know what you want next.
  • You'll get better suggestions if you give more information. What is your budget? Do you live in a hilly area (otherwise, why go for a triple crankset)?
