Now an all-rounder

Since I stopped commuting a year ago I've hardly used this bike as it was uncomfortable to ride in woods, on gravel tracks etc which is most of my leisure riding. I'm also riding in between houses in the locality, only really 3 or 4 miles typically doing some cat sitting/feeding. Consequently I've been using a heavy MTB which is comfortable but slow.
So I wiped off the dust and decided to make my Boardman more of an all-rounder.
Off came the SPDs, replaced by flats
Off came the grips, replaced by comfortable ones with bar ends, bar tilted up a bit for a more upright position
Off came the thin tyres, replaced by 35s
Replaced brakes as the old ones were shot
Now it works on-road, off-road and I think it looks pretty good. Smooth as clockwork and not a squeek when riding, which isn't bad for a bike that's done over 15,000 miles and is 4 years old :P
