Must do some chores...must do some chores...must get another coffee...must think about doing some chores...must think about how long I can make this coffee last...
Should have pedalled today but feeling mangled after Monday hell and Chewsday Armageddon.
Stove top is calling, must go.

As you are Home Alone, if you should encounter any burglars make sure you booby trap the house and all will turn out fine, be careful with the aftershave thoughwww.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0

Good advice from Mr Fish. I should add that you should make sure you clear any mess you make before she gets back. Might be an idea to delete your browsing history too.
Not much going on here. Just been for lunch with the Mrs, fortunately the rain held off until I was locking up the bike after my return. Pub tonight.0 -
Morning slackers.
How is home life without the milfs Pinno.
Off to apple later to sort my phone otherwise a hectic work day and no biking later

Busy day today spent mostly in meetings and also interviewing for minions. Think I've found a good one.
The day started off well as greasy spoon at the tube station near work has reopened so I treated myself to a bacon sarnie. May have to do some exercise now."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

Dropped the toots off this morning but it's a bit of a change of guard with the new term and some unfamiliar faces, not a Bank of Scotland bank clerk to be seen
Then I picked them up at noon but the milf pickings were very slim*.
Waiting for my new work stand to arrive via Herpes/Parcel Farce.
*They were quite the opposite actually. :roll:seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Gutted Pinno, could be one of those weeks for ya
New phone from the fruit shop and rushed back through the crudder into the car n got 2 laps on the local hill in (would normall cycle there but darkness n stuff)
Nah i've been trying to remember this excellent place I went down some back side street near an old arch. Big barrels outside, tiny trattoria, near a church and only italians that day. Narrows it down eh;00 -

Down to 3/4 of Italy. Perhaps you should recount the smells you remember, that should narrow it down even further. Now, if there was a 'fishy' smell...seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Which arch? This one:

first arch I'd say but surely we can find more, yep pedestrian street, was on my right but I could have been walking the other way. 3 or 4 barrels more like a shop serving stuff than anything. Totally a different place. Going to be like the burger joint in how I met your mother
Isn't this a fun game. May have to go back and find it0 -
My folks are there now, I'll tell them to go and have a look for you. I probably won't be there until next summer now.0

Back after playing with my new toy.
Nothing very exciting. Only £28.00, £122 pounds off so they say - probably a few quid off 'cos it is pretty solid and better than I expected.

Not too shabby for £28."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

No it isn't too shabby. As I say, they claimed that it was reduced by £122 but I doubt it. It is as good as the Taxc one I bought for £150 10 years ago.
All the clamps are solid, big gap on the rubber headed jaws, the legs are heavy and sturdy like Anne Widdicombe, the clamo can be rotated to whatever mounting point you like - i.e seapost, top tube and seat tube, the height would suit a 6'10" mechanic and the legs can be spread wider than a Smoggy girl if she's a bit heavy.
Time you learnt to fettle Stevo?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Nope."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0
-
Nope.
You are missing out on the bigger picture. You'll need a toolbox and a workbench and somewhere to put it - like a man shed. The shed will be too big for just a bike workstand, toolbox and workbench, so you'll have to put a mini fridge, widescreen TV, old leather sofa and all the mandatory comfort items that you require.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Nope.

Nope.
+ potatoe
Just like Bridgnorth. potato doesn't have an 'e'.
Stevo. Think about it. A man shed. All yours. Your stuff. Your Razzle collection. A place away from trouble and strife/stroptean. The Terminator box set on DVD. Some tools and a chance to get greasy (other than the shower).seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Already got one called the garage..."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

Already got one called the garage...
It's a garage, not a man shed. I bet it's full of unwanted, unused girly bikes. In fact, I know it's full of unused girly bikes, bits of furniture, the household expenses archive of receipts and invoices and all the stuff you can't bear to throw away.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Just like Bridgnorth. potato doesn't have an 'e'.
Garage trumps shed every time. I've had a car, 2 motorbikes and 4 bicycles in my single garage. Can't do that with a shed. Mate of mine used to keep his porn collection in his shed, it was known as the pornidor.0 -

I bet that garage is not exclusively yours.
I don't think Stevo is man enough for a man shed TBH. I mean he can't fix a puncture. Perhaps he should head North and enrol on Pinno's top bike fixing course for hopeless blokes.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

I bet that garage is not exclusively yours.
Well, that sounds like a proper man jackanory, with a real man accident, full of man things and proper man fettling thrown in. That's the difference between you and Stevo.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Surely Stevo's lack of fettling is him trying to prove the trickle down theory works, he can afford to pay someone to do the work thus keeping someone in employment. I can see both sides of the argument, I'm tight(poor) enough to want to try and fix my bikes myself but also I'll gladly pay someone a fiver to wash my car as money and time wise it makes sense.0

Pinno's trying hard to get a bite from me, but I CBA
CBA to sit in sheds either..."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0
