Knocked this up over the last few weeks. The only stumbling block I had was finding a cheap chainset but once I bagged the 105 chainset off Ebay for £25, albeit with wrong size chainrings, it was go.
Basic Spec:
A few teething problems showed up on the first ride, mudguard rubbed and saddle nose was too high, apart from that I was happy with the build that came in at 10.8kg as shown.

I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Looks quite nice, am I right in thinking you've used one of these bottom brackets:

Or is there a considerably cheaper option elsewhere that I've missed?
Right now I'm thinking i'd struggle to justify that versus a chain tensioner.0 -
Would look better without the random black tape here and there.
The next frame size up would have been better, looks a bit small for you looking at the set-up.0 -

Guilty as charged, took a bit of setting up but once done it works very well.Would look better without the random black tape here and there.
We have Sheffield stands in work and the 'random' black tape is actually inner tubes strategically placed at the contact points. The next frame size up would have been better, looks a bit small for you looking at the set-up.
I'm just on the borderline for the larger frame size, the frame as it is fits me well. I've done 1700 miles on it and apart from the saddle angle needing a tweek there has been no need to adjust anything to suit my body.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0
