Hello
I am in the market for my first bike. I will use this bike for getting around town during the week (roads) but also canal paths at the weekend. My budget is between £200-350.

As a beginner, I would appreciate peoples' thoughts on this model - and any other suggestions for good bikes in my price range.

Hi,
What you are looking for is between a road bike and a mountain bike. Below are a few bikes to have a look at and halfords or decathlon would offer the best value for money in your price range if you can get your size. Mens bikes tend to offer better value for money but the saddles may not fit you properly but are easily changed.
