then it would not be a bike in the UK. it would become under a whole new set of rules and regulations.

Too many variables to even get a reasonable estimate. It depends on torque, aerodynamics, ground/bike resistance, drivetrain efficiency, bike/rider weight and rider flatulence

Forget Electric, Jets, SSD's and just go for a quantum space engine.

A restricted 50cc scooter still needs a speed limiter to keep it at 30mph as 5bhp will take you past that with all the drag on a step through.

BiTD a 125cc with circa 18bhp would top 60mph just about.

Watched an Oz docusoap where the guy was riding a bike with twin hub motors (5Kw each is readily available, so about 15bhp total) and was clocked at 85kph.
