Knee pads

Do i need Knee pads for Sherwood pines and cannock chase yes or no? I've fallen off a couple of times my gloves saved my hands when I went over my handle bars but my shoulder took most of the impact. So are they needed for red routes etc?

    Yea thougt pines wasn't needed any, not done Cannock yet, but its on the agenda to do next month. Might get pair then got them when I need them.
