Handlebar options - room for bar ends

Hi
I have a Triban 540 flat bar. I also only have one hand, so the decathlon workshop kindly rigged up a right brake lever that pulls both brakes simultaneously, and they moved the front shifter to the right hand side for ease of use.
Problem is, it's a little crowded on that side of the handlebar.
I wanted a body geometry style grip with bar ends so ordered the specialized targa BG grips with bar ends thinking they were an integrated part of the grip. But they're not, and while I can get the grip on, there is no room in the inn for the bar end. Because the bar fattens as it nears the stem, I cannot push the shifters any further along.
My priority was the BG grips and the bar ends a nice to have so not the end of the world. Any thoughts please as to alternative kit (bars or grips) that might allow me both? Thanks.

The spec. says the handle bars are 560mm wide on the XS/S/M/L bikes the only thing I can think of if you don't want to use a wider MTB bar, is to swop the O.E. 31.7mm dia. bar for a 25.4mm dia bar and shim to fit the stem. something like this which may have more room to slide the controls inboard.

Do phone to ask what the length of the straight section of the bar is, before the bulged section, before you purchase, if it is no longer than that of the original handlebars, then it would be off no advantage.0 -
Thanks, that's very useful0

Or try these - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/ergon-gp2-handlebar-grips/?lang=en&curr=GBP&dest=1&sku=5360620704&ci_src=18615224&ci_sku=5360620704uk&utm_source=google&utm_term&utm_campaign&utm_medium=base&utm_content=sRRn13CzV_dc|pcrid|67090789262|pkw||pmt||prd|5360620704uk ?
My dad has them and finds them very comfortable. Easy to fit and the bar end part doesn't make the grip much wider.I'm left handed, if that matters.0
