futurestorex.com scam shop

I have come across a site called futurestorex.com which is selling road bikes and other bikes cheaper than anyone else. They offer a huge amount of bikes often at a 50% discount.
It looks a little bit suspicious to me. They claim to have an office in London but there's no phone number. They have replied to an e-mail they sent me saying they are legitimate but are new to the UK.
Has anyone used this site? Can anyone confirm as to whether it is a scam or legitimate?

They have lifted the photos and descriptions straight from wiggle, so that would be fake.
So what email did they reply from, a guess would be a private gmail account.0 -
Website registered 6th August 2015 via a Panama-based company? I'm out on that alone. Did browse the site and add a bike to my basket - no size selection offered. It's as comforting as Dodgy McDodgy of Moody Town; only missing the usual Malaysian/Indonesian link that comes up here time & time again.Location: ciderspace0

These questions always seem to be asked by new members in their first post. Strange, that....0

If this is your first order, the only available payment method will be Bank Wire. Once your payment will be aproved, we will unlock the rest of available payment options.0

They want people to list ways to spot scam sites so they can make their scam sites more realistic.
Best to just ignore and not post.0 -

It is 100% scam."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Hahaha, yeah there's no better way of improving the trustworthiness of your scam website than to start a discussion on a bike forum about how suspicious your site is.
Thanks for the other, less narky and more constructive, replies. Hopefully anyone who comes across this thread will know to steer clear of the site completely.0 -

You'd be surprised at how stupid people can be.0 -
If a website takes credit card, how safe is it then? Even if it looks possibly dodgy, you're covered right? Because you can claim back via CC company? Or can that sometimes not work? Just wondering how much safety paying by credit card gives? (I know the website in question in this thread doesn't take CC, I'm just wondering generally.)0

First order is bank/wire transfer only until you are 'trusted' so 100% a scam as that's much harder to recover the funds.0

Yes you're covered, but you have just given your credit card details to a bunch of fraudsters, who will be then either using them or selling them onto someone else.
Ooh, the buggers.0
