Replace brake pads & shoes? Defy2 2012
Hope you can help... I got a 2012 defy 2 for winter use last year, wheeled it out and had short spin round the block and noticed that the brakes were practically non existent, pads are well worn. Have been riding composite 2 with nice new pads , Swisstop I think. The defy 2 has Tektro TK-R340 Giant Specific. If I want to change the pads on this to Swisstop or salmon what brake shoe will I need to get to fit these pads? I don't think they will fit the current shoe, doesn't appear to have the 2 screw set up to retain the pads.
Grateful for any advice.

If the tektro's don't have cartridge type pad holders you will need these.

cartridge rim brakes are a set size I believe, so just buy a cheap set and replace the pads0
