My second road bike upgrading from a Cannondale Caad 8.

Only been on it for an hour but its a cracking ride. Very very light and rapid. Makes the caad 8 seem slow.

Photos have never done it justice and it looks miles better in person as most bikes tend to do

Looks great. Have the older Izalco Team from 2013 and its fantastic.

That's a nice looking bike, like the colour scheme. Interesting that they have used external cable routing.

Its funny because if you buy the cheaper Focus bikes you will get internal routing.

Because this is the pro level frame, Focus decided with external routing because it was easier for the mechanics at the tour, Same with the Cannondale Supersix.

To be honest the external routing doesn't bother me at all.

I don't think that having external cable routing detracts from the look of the bike at all, and as you say more straight forward maintenance/service wise.

Beautiful! I love Focus bikes, especially the Max series.

Btw i would get a second rear light if riding at night.
