Felt frame loose rivnut fix

I have a spinning bottle mount rivnut on the downtube of a Felt F3 frame (carbon).
It cannot be tightened as it has a bolt seized in it. There is not enough rivnut to grip to unseize the bolt.
Plan is to carefully grind off the top flange of the rivnut and the head of the bolt, push it through into the frame and fit a new nut (I have the tool at work).
I don't want half a rivnut rattling round in my frame though and am hoping that the frame tubes are laid up in such a way that the bit of nut can be rattled out of either the head tube or past the BB insert and out of the seat tube.
Any reasons that wont work guys?
Cheers
Ben

So far so good, old rivnut ground off and rattled out of headtube. Just a shame I had to cut through a carbon bottle cage to get to it0
