Forks to fit Raleigh Titanium

Hi all.

Recently been given a titanium bike by an old club mate, He seems to think it was an old raleigh that his friend had as a hand me down. anyway as its at least 15 years old i think, does anyone know what size of fork would that take as am not to clued up on fork/headset combinations. is it 1&1/8 or is it a diff size ??? would be grateful for some advice. cheers.

    Thanks. Any suggestions of what make of carbon forks in 1 inch. am not bothered about the steerer being carbon. alloy will do too.

    If the steerer is 1" then your options are severely limited in terms of replacements. Can you not just use the fork you already have?

    No, steerer has been cut too short I need at least another 4-5 cms for my position to feel comfy - I've sourced Tifosi forks today . Thanks
