Most accessories on one bike

What's the most accessories you have seen bolted to one bike.
In Halfords today I saw a Boardman Team HT (good bike) sporting a great selection including map holder, saddle pack, gel saddle cover, mudguards, frame mounted pump, kick stand, lights (two sets), mirror, rack and indicators. I didn't even known you could buy indicators. The bike must have weighed 40lb at least judging by the Halfords dudes effort to lift it in to the work stand.
There must be bikes sporting more accessories than this.

You should try doing a bike tour with a bunch of Germans.Bird Aeris : Trek Remedy 9.9 29er : Trek Procaliber 9.8 SL0

At least they will have accessories for carrying beer and pork.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

The last one I did in the Harz Mountains, the guys were carrying electric razors and hairdryers with them.Bird Aeris : Trek Remedy 9.9 29er : Trek Procaliber 9.8 SL0

Hair dryers! Great idea, point them backwards off the bike, they'll be a low speed jet propelled system, point them forwards and you've always got a tailwind. Wonder how many I can fit on my bike...0

Working in a bike shop, I see some proper shockers. And they're always a fucking pain in the arse to get in the stand/work on, because their stupid bloody gadgets are always right where you don't want them to be. Hate hate hate them.0

You see some stacked up bikes for people doing long distance Randonneurs, bar bags, saddle bags, frame bags and multiple bottle holders as well as a map/smart phone bag for navigation.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

That kit has a purpose though. Not like the tat from Halfords accessories deptTransition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
Very true, and I'm getting a saddle mount for a pair of bottle holders for my next one as carrying enough fluids can be difficult.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

I do find that a pre race poo is worth a few seconds off a DH race runTransition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Surely as aero drag stays the same, you would be faster downhill with the weight of the poo still aboard to increase the force due to gravity?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Surely the pre race poo will help on the climbs back up unless you have uplift?
In terms of tat on bikes not actually seen one as extreme as that probably the worst i have seen was front and back panniers to come to work in an office bike looked very heavy.
I cant link them as im at work but im sure I've seen some sort of leather contraction that hooks over the toptube for wine bottles.0 -

There's more than one error in there. Weight has nothing to do with gravity other than more mass will increase speed by increasing momentum to overcome drag.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

No, the aero drag is unchanged by not having a poo, the greater mass means more force from gravity so the free wheeling speed will be higher (but acceleration the same if you don't pedal, but slower if you do), that is correct.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Nope, I'm afraid you were wrong. Your words...
"you would be faster downhill with the weight of the poo still aboard to increase the force due to gravity"
You specifically said 'weight'. You now changed that to 'mass'. Weight and mass are two different things. Mass and gravity, yes, Weight and gravity, no.All the gear, no idea and loving the smell of jealousy in the morning.

It's not semantics when it comes to physics, they are different things. All the gear, no idea and loving the smell of jealousy in the morning.

If you read what I wrote, I said "the weight of the poo still aboard to increase the force due to gravity", there is nothing wrong with that, the weight (force) of the poo is part of the total which is now increased. So actually it was right wasn't it?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Never mind. It was just a joke pointing out the mistake often made between weight and mass, which are two distinctly different things with different relationships to gravity. All the gear, no idea and loving the smell of jealousy in the morning.

Yeah I got that, if I were at work I'd be more careful, in this case the mistake just happens to 'correct' itself though!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
