Manifold Trail Peak district

Hi, Looking to take the kids on the Manifold Trail next week. Is there parking at the south end of the trail (Waterhouses)?
And is it suitable for a skinny tyred kid's road bike (which make transporting us all there a bit easier)?

    Oxoman - I think from previous posts you're local-ish to that area and have kids - it's perfect for kids. Flat, a 17 mile RT with cafe at both ends and doable on a road bike. The path is tarmac all the way, although obviously not the smoothest. Took us about 3 hours with 2 cafe stops.
