Would like to get a winter frame, lots of bargains around, have looked at one but has 1&1/8" to 1&1/2" head tube, any recommendations for carbon forks with 'guard eyes to fit?

Neither of the above are tapered. OP is looking for 1-1/8 to 1-1/2 to fit the frame he he wants to buy.
Kinesis looks to be the only one so far.
My advice to the OP - forget the frame with the tapered headset. Plenty of good bargains out there with standard non-tapered headsets. The fork choice then becomes much easier and cheaper if you want carbon with mudguard eyelets.0
