@ Sean- go from two to one stabilisers?
Alternatively- take em both off, hold onto the rear of the saddle and run along until Sean Mark 2 is pedalling.
Get it right and it's a lifetime memory and bond. No pressure 8)

both removed worked for me with the older rugrat
the 2nd one was more stubborn and eventually I shouted at him and left him with the bike - next minute he was cycling backwards and forwards no issue0 -
I've heard of the one stabiliser method but not seen it in action. My dad taught myself and my sister with the second option, he ran along with us and let go saying " You've got two options, keep peddling or fall off."Flying back today.

Why was Seano looking up Stevo's stats? Stalking? Take the stabilisers off at the top Ridgeway Place and give the kid a shove, I'm sure it'll be fine. Alternatively make sure they have a bit of motivation, the knowledge that his cousin had learnt was enough to get my lad going. From finding that out to riding a bike took about 10 minutes, that included me unbolting the stabilisers. I went with the running along holding the seat, although I didn't have to run far with him. The girl took rather longer and almost crippled me.
Anyway, very glad it's Friday. Dead piggy will be fried and consumed later. Might go to the pub with the EPO on the way home.

Today is sorting out treasury matters for a change. Home early to look after the hound while Strifey and Stropteen are out. Then I might vote in the Labour leadership elections
