Fulcrum 5, spacer and rattly 10spd cassette

Hi guys,

bought some Fulcrum 5's from Wiggle last year - just fitted a 105 5700 10 spd cassette, complete with one spacer behind the cassette - lockring is tight, but there is still play in the cassette, more than a tiny bit.

Does it really need an additional spacer, and if so, can anyone recommend a size or make to purchase?

I was really surprised, expected a single spacer to work fine with a 10spd cassette.

the wheels probably have an 11sp hub, I know my Fulcrum 3's do ... and that requires the thick spacer that came with the wheels, AND the thin spacer with the 10sp cassette. Sounds like you're missing the spacer that converts the 11sp into a 10sp. From memory I think it's 1.85mm thick ...

^this, if you have lost it you should be able to grab one from your lbs for next to nothing, I had to for my set of racing 5's that came as stock on my summer bike and due to a upgrade became my winter bikes wheels.

it may be it is just buried in the box - these are brand new never used wheels, bought from Wiggle last year.

When I bought a set from rose, the spacer was alrady on the freewheel, secured there with an elastic band, so it might just be that it's in the bag with the QR's hopefully, otherwise I will try the lbs, or drop wiggle a line.
