Afternoon all,
Now recovered from my traditional Thursday hangover, beer was good. Bunking off early as we're having a celebratory meal in honour of the boys GCSE results, then he's going out drinking at a mates place. Drove in today as my shoe were still sopping wet after yesterday's ride home.
Onwards and upwards...

my ride last night was wet too, got reacquainted with the tarmac briefly too! today was looking ok but we just had a massive downpour, hoping the roads will dry out before I leave tonight!

Congrats on V68 Jnr's results (i assume he got Mrs V68's brains!) is anyone else young enough to have actually done GCSE's themselves?

Last full day's holiday today with 4 generations of the family. my daughter decided for whatever reason to buy her friend a porn calendar (I've given up trying to establish a logic in a 15 year olds thought process) anyway she announced ( loudly, excitedly and while we were sat by the pool) her latest acquisition together with some chocolate that she was set for the day. Porn and chocolate.

12 days riding in the last two weeks and my legs were like jelly on the start of tonight's ride. The world makes sense when I'm on my bike following my brother in laws back wheel...

    Yamas.

    I did GCSE's.

I had a lovely dinner last night and then killed myself today. Owe some yorkshire boys a drink for letting me sit in in their group up one side of Ventoux.

No idea why people do HC rides, once was not a pleasure and twice was not an achievement. the hill home had me crying and shouting like a crazed mad man

Hope he didn't get his dad's looks from what I hear.

No GCSE for me. We did proper exams. (Should be good for a few replies)

Doesn't surprise me Seano, should have gone to a better school.
Thanks Chris. Unfortunately for him he is the spit of me. To such an extent that airport security in LA said "Wow, you have the same face." when we went through.

I'm starting to feel sorry for him now :P Well done on the GCSEs mind.

Today was tedious to the extent that my highlight was a 2 hour group videoconference...at least the new minion showed up. TFIF tomorrow.

Not too bad if I am honest, as long as you mentality dig in, everything is long enough to get a rhythm going be it 8% or 14. And 5% makes you fly as it just becomes a false flat. The cars at the top and all,the families taking pictures of husbands are a pain

Double fail. Firstly for hiring a bloke and secondly for posting in yesterday's daily thread after today's so the order is wrong. Thirdly for hiring a bloke.

It''s OK, he's only a contract minion so I have a chance to hire a norky replacement on a permanent basis.
