I have the Condor on order but Condor are being incredibly vague about delivery dates. This is not really a problem but it got me thinking about the Ritchey. Both bikes will do what I want and I have almost all of the components now to build the bike up. Both frames are about the same money and so I am curious to know what people think about both bikes and if you had the choice what would you go for.
I am a heavy rider and just want a nice steel do it all bike for leisure/commuting - no racing and not necessarily doing big mile rides. I like the idea of a versatile bike but like my bikes to be both comfy and fast and 90 percent of the time I will be on tarmac. Heard good things about both bikes and like them both .

Are you bothered about having mudguard/rack mounts? I don't think the Ritchey has them, will be a nice ride though I would have thought with that logic II tubeset.0

The ritchey is probably better. As a do it all bike. The condor will be a better Road bike because of the bb height. I'd not commute or have a do it all bike without mudguards. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Yes I think I am going to stick with the Condor. I have now been told it will be late September and may opt for a custom paint job as it wont affect the delivery date apparently. May go red and white or blue and white. It also means I have longer to save up for the full hydro brake kit.0
