The other day whilst dressing for a ride I bent down to pick up a dropped glove an my helment prevented a head/drawer interaction which may have resulted in a swear word.

I suggest whist in the proximity of drawers, side boards and other furniture you might want to wear a helmet.

Anyway, 2 pages as it's a shit thread.

If I am alone and someone gives me a hand, I may well be more than a little frightened.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

I have a story for you,

Recently I had a accident, my head hit the concrete first with some force, helmet was shattered/crushed,

I have no doubt without out it my injuries would have been more severe, not life threatening but definitely worse.

The helmet is now in the bin such is the fickle relationship I have with my 'soulmate' I feel bad, I'm not sure if the helmet feels anything, it was the quiet type, difficult to judge its emotional state.

Moving forward i am seeking a new and hopefully substantial soulmate to replace aforementioned kindred spirit.

I had a helmet in the army as well, a piece of shrapnel once became embedded in it, this I feel would have been life threatening, however our time had to end also.

I guess the moral of my story is to not become too attached to that which is without feelings, or able to sustain a meaningful relationship, remember this when seeking your next mate.

Just pulled the trigger on a new lid / soul mate - the old one has been hanging around for a while & getting a bit needy & demanding attention. I'll dump it in the shed later.
    Soul mate, schmoul mate.

Plus, I have a separate one for MTB'ing (has a lurvely visor and isn't so obsessed with it's weight/body shape) - so, one in every port, unfaithful swine that I am.

At least I'm in no danger from the Ashley Madison situation....

you should do what I do, I wear a lager helmet over my regular bike helmet, that way should I ever hit the anything too hard the regular helmet will be protected. I am currently in the market for an even larger helmet to protect the larger one.

lager helmets either protect better than anything, or cause more injuries. probably both at the same time. ;-)

What happens when I'm on my own with my helmet is none of your business mate.

  • 4 years ago this week I had my only serious 'off' but I selflessly threw the rest of my body in between the cut up tarmac and my trusty helmet to save it from harm.

The road rash all the way up one side of my body, bits on the other and a 10cm long 3rd degree burn on my arm was totally worth it to keep that piece of polystyrene from harm...

I assume you have a vested interest in that company and would recommend a better marketing technique than bizzare posts on forums!

I have many issues with that helmet! and it must be filled with electronic, just what you want in something that is meant to protect your head!

I am a new hand here ,I have seeking a appropriate helmet for a long time . Safety is the superior issus in life ,and the helmet could help us to protect the most important part of our body. And this is why I called it "solu mate".Fortunately,I got it a few days ago ,It has built-i LEDs for turn signals, a 3-axis gravity sensor (I don't know this one), a function to send SOS messages in cases of emergencies. There's also a bluetooth speaker, and a walkie-talkie . This is Livall on indiegogo.
May I safely assume that it has a Go Pro mount as well?
