Careful that the gel pads don't cause pressure points. Having tried this route, these days I'd focus on the bar wrap.ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0

you mean replace the bar tape and then use no gloves?0 -
Endura aerogel.
I've had the Mk1 versions for 4 years now, and granted the gel pads are now falling out of their mesh restraints, but the Mk 2 versions look sturdier and if anything more comfortable. I'll be buying a pair next month for sure.0 -

No - I'd always use gloves to avoid hand gravel rash. But use a friendlier bar tapeROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0 -
Try GripGrab gloves. Their sizing is spot on.Summer - Giant Defy Composite 2 (Force 22) (retd)

Well I went for size L based on their chart, and after several rides I'm forced to conclude they are too big. There's too much material / padding bunching in the palm and between my fingers when I hold the bars and my hands are aching after an hour. Back to my tatty BG mitts till I find something better.0 -

Use unpadded mitts, and a cushion bar tape, and maybe gel pads under the tape.0 -
so based on the advise here I think im best replacing the bar tape first, or indeed overwrapping what I have at the moment. and see what its like with my current gloves.
if I still have issues I will look at the specialized or the endure gloves.0
