Garmin 800 not finding satellites

Hello all.

I'm in Mallorca and have got a bike booked for tomorrow, however since I've got here I've not been able to acquire enough satellites. I've left it sat on the balcony but the most it's found is three. I have already got a open source Spanish map and have planned a route so would really like it to work. Any ideas?

Turn if off/on again and leave it out there for aaaaages. Failing that take a walk to somewhere more open.

Cheers, I'll give it a try somewhere more open. Could be the reinforced concrete of the hotel blocking them I guess.

Its not really in the open if you're on the balcony. Cant you try it outside the hotel ?

Make sure you've deleted any history you have stored in it. Weird but works for me.
