dt Swiss dicut hub

My dt Swiss rear dicut hub is making some worrying noises and I want to get in and have a look around. Thing is I can't get the hub body off! All the you tube vids are for the MTB and non dicut hubs. Am
I missing something ??

    Most DT swiss hubs are tool free, meaning if you pull the freehub hard, it should pop off. Ypou can try to remove the cap to make it easier... again by pulling it

    That's what I thought!
    But I am pulling it very very hard and it's not budging!

    Just making sure I'm not missing something I need to unlock first
