Last nights BBQ was good fun, but perhaps more than 3 hrs kip would have been a good idea
Today has so far involved tidying up and entertaining 6 kids whilst the other parents try to sleep of the ale
Later is a hair cut and preparing for the holiday which starts on Friday night

Good morning all. Havent been on here in a while.
Up early in an attempt to try and make the most of the tail end of my summer holiday. Feeling much better after results day this year than i was last year, managed to change my EDU to a BBB which im chuffed with.
My original plan was to head up to the forest for a nice hour and a half blast on the bike, but im just too lazy. That leaves my around 200km left to do in the 2nd half of the month to get up to my 300km target for the month. Its going to probably going to be a day of Xbox with the mates by the looks of it, and sorting out a brake for my BMX project.0 -

Morning all, and GT.
House has mostly survived last night's shenanigans. I had a great time in the pub with some old school mates, especially good as it got me out the house. Not much going on today other than sorting the house and going to see my folks for lunch.0 -

I usually do, because of Strava. But there is a Strava August challenge for how many kilometers you can cycle, so im using kilometers for that because thats what it records it in for the challenge.0 -

Ladies and Gt,
Been out doing sporting shizzle, i was rubbish.
I am now putting some meat in the oven which is some kind of analogy that can be used for Gts mum, if you are like that. But i'm not!

aah that reminds me of the old joke:
Whats diference between a woman and an oven?
an oven doesnt fart when you pull the meat out.
Im LOLing at my own joke there.
Passed my level 2 MIAS today so am pleased. only fell off in front of the instructor once so im happy with myself. GUtted that one of the lads was told he is already at a personal riding ability for level 3 whereas i have a little work (but not much) to do which means he will be rubbing it in my obvious for the foreseeable future!
so overall pretty good given the amount of time i had out of cycling and how recently got back in to it.
Oh and the new edison? best bike ive ever ridden.
Oh and on the subject of mums, mine lives in Rhyl.0 -

Lots of driving back down from the Northern wastelands today, followed by trying to control an unruly hound. I'm knackered and not looking forward to 5 days of work..."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

I'm led to believe it's rather dilapidated.
