rockhopper comp xc28 upgrade

I have a specialised rockhopper comp 29er , and would like to upgrade my xc28 coil,lockout 100mm forks. Read a lot of reviews saying they don't do the frame justice ,(also may upgrade my crankset) any advise please ? I don't want to go over board on the price ...I'm a moderate user .

I would also be very interested in this as I have the same dork. Seems ok but when it finally gives in I'll replace with something better.

Have you looked around at all? Seem to be able to pick the xc32 fork up new on eBay for £160ish which seems like good value. But not sure about other brands. How much are you wanting to spend?

At your budget I would go for Suntour Epicon. Air spring with 32mm stanchions, a pretty good upgrade from the XC32.

Do you mean xc28? Looking at them the Epicon and the xc32 are very similar.
