cycling with a Garmin Etrex 10

Hi all,
For cycling in unknown territories I use my Edge 500 but it often annoys me because the GPS doesn't seem too precise and mainly because it can be very slow updating the route after missing a turn. Sometimes I have a blank screen for minutes when the device is updating after having missed a turn.
I am satisfied with only having a breadcrumb trail tough, usually that works well enough so I'm considering whether an Etrex 10 would be an upgrade because it has GLONASS ability. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what cycling with an Etrex 10 is like. Mainly I'm interested to know if it processes tracks quickly, for instance when turning a corner does the screen update quickly etc at a scale (let's say 200m) that is suitable for biking.
Thanks!
