Bottom bracket width

I am converting a bike to single speed and having purchased a track wheel and single speed crankset I have realised the chain line is way off.

Currently I have a 122mm spindle.

Is it just a case of getting a smaller BB or do I need to measure somehow?

Thanks for that. I've looked on the sturdy archer site and it says 111mm with 45mm chain line.

110 or 107 will do the job too....

will this not cause issues with chain alignment for a single speed? I did think 110mm should be ok

So i am confused now.

Ive looked at the manufacturers reccomended width and it says 111mm but if you look at the recommended bb it seems to be shorter?

I would not worry about chainline but rather if your cranks/chainring clear of the frame stays...

I have gone for the 110mm Shimano UN55 and hope that will be ok.
