Better to go a size up if you're between sizes, right? Any feedback from owners appreciated.

I'm 5ft 8 with 31" leg and ride a 53cm with a 110cm stem and 20mm set back post0

Thanks! I'm taller than you with slightly longer legs, but I have sloping shoulders so tend to prefer a shorter reach. 55 sounds like the answer!0

It's easier to make a slightly small frame fit than a big one.
I appreciate that, but in this case, from what I've read, it may not apply. Ive heard it can feel quite aggressive if you size down.0 -

I'd agree with this! I bought a Breakway based on TT length and fell between sizes so bought the smaller one but found that the head tube was considerably shorter and needed far too many spacers. Handling suffered and I sold the frame0 -
im 5`11 32" inside leg and went for the 55, run a inline seatpost and 100mm stem. really comfy havent touched my carbon bike since i built this up!0

Seat tube (c-t) of 525mm = 55cm size in there chart?
My current bike fits well and frame seat tube is (c-t) is 53cm, so seems a 55cm ritchley would suit?
On the other hand have heard Top tube (effective) which is 560mm for the 55cm size is more important for fit....0
