Want some new summer shoes (I know it's almost Winter). I've only ever had Spesh expert bg and before that had some flexy touring ones with spds so my knowledge lacks. Probably looking at £150 max but closer to £100 would be better. Size 45 in Spesh.
Looking at the decathlon ones: http://www.decathlon.co.uk/700-carbon-road-cycling-shoes-white-red-id_8315398.html
Mainly I like them for value........any opinions on them and in general.
Also why are so many shoes ugly as hsit.

the sh r171 from shimano, in a 45 is very similar to the spesh in sizing, the newer shimano shoes dont come up narrow and in any case they do a wide version - the shiney finish is easy to keep clean too.
should be about £110 from places like merlin or CRC.0 -
I'd prefer full carbon sole for stiffness tbh but depends on others view on that.
How do the ratchet straps compare to boa dials?0
