surprisingly despite Van G's / Talansky et al best efforts USA are only one above Canada in 18th place0

I know Spain are number one by miles and GB are number two.
Beyond them I'd guess, in order, Italy, Australia and Colombia. Maybe France. (I can't of anyone getting big points for Belgium other than maybe GVA).
It's important because only the top five at the end of the year get a full team of five for the OlympicsTwitter: @RichN950 -
So it's gonna be, I reckon.
Spain
UK
Columbia
Italy
France
Maybe Swap Italy and Columbia over, but that's my guess and i'm sticking to it.0 -

Are you forgetting the Ster ZLM Toer?
Yeah, but they have lots of stages (if not overalls) - 6 Tour, 1 Giro and (if this is a rolling 12 month calculation) 5 Vuelta. Plus a smattering of stages in Paris Nice, Romandie, Algarve and er Eneco. Throw that into the pot with a Milan San Remo and a Paris Roubaix and I thought they'd be higher.
But looking at the answer, you are right, only top ten. It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0 -

Individual stages and one dayers don't count for sh!t compared to stage races points wise.
hmmm, is that the technical explanation?0 -

+ Leo Konig, either that or he rode so ala Zubeldia at the Giro, that the UCI didn't give him his points.0 -
Oh yeah, has forgot about them.
Just remember reading on INRNG that he will have a very small team for the Worlds as the Czech Republic are something like 17th in the Europe Tour, so don't get any extra riders that way0
