Not broken down to the extent you want but it's part of their £5m performance revenue which comes from Pina/Shimano etc
So Pinarello is the payer, to some proportion of £5m0 -

is that the total equipment cost ?? ie goods to the value of over x years0 -
AFAIK, for the majority of equipment suppliers to Pro Tour teams, companies not only provide the equipment, but also pay the team a fee to use it.
For some smaller or individual items, the teams may just purchase it outright to use. But they don't promote the product in these cases.0 -

I remember going on the Old Trafford tour about 20 years ago and they tried to tell me that every players shirt cost them £70. Even at the age of 14 I found that utterly ludicrous."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Haven't Sky said in the past that they use Ultegra cassette's instead of DA to reduce cost's.0 -

I would think that they are given an amount to 'spend' with parts suppliers - and they don't just get unlimited amounts of whatever they want. They might use Ultegra for training and DA for racing, etc.0 -
anyone know what Pinarellos annual turnover/profit is ?0

I don't think Pinarello alone pony up all of that. Some will be from Shimano and others (clothing, jaguar) etc.My bikes
MTB - 1997 Kona Kula
Hybrid - Kona Dew Deluxe
Road - 2011 Ribble Gran Fondo, Omega Matrix Ultegra0 -
I think the bikes are imported by yellow-limited, not sure if they were involved in the negotiations.0

that's not what was written. Pina's say that approximately 15% of revenue goes on promotion and marketing. That's not all exclusively to Sky (they supply other teams!) and to assume that all £5m of Sky's "technical support income" would come from Pina is bonkers. Jaguar, Rapha, Shimano, Wahoo, Muc Off and many others will cough up a variety of levels of dough + products depending on the level of support/promotion etc.Trail fun - Transition Bandit

I count 11 Tours have been won on their bikes since 1990 - and 7 of the years in that period are null and void...
Pretty impressive record.0 -

But that was because they couldn"t get good quality knock-offs from the Far East like what Sky do now.
Apparently, Indurain fashioned his famous sword bike from old pinata donkey parts - he called it "Viejo Fiel" in honour of his favourite sporting hero from Scotland...0 -
Re Pinarellos that aren't actually Pinarellos, was a conclusion ever reached on what Cav rode when he was at Sky? I remember a lot of discussion that it might have been a re-badged Venge but can't remember what the conclusion was.0

He was on a dogma 65.1 from what i saw, at least during the tour in 2012. switched back to the venge in 2013 when he moved to OPQS (as was).0 -

He was on a Dogma 2. Leastways I hope he was because that's what I bought from Sky at their end of season sell off.0 -

I'd be interested to find out what physical assets they have that they're depreciating - if they're given all the bikes, kit, team cars etc as part of a sponsorship deal then that doesn't leave much (buildings presumably?). On the other hand if they owned all the bikes, kit and team cars you might expect the depreciation to be much higher.
Do they publish their accounting policies? I am aware this is really boring and unimportant...0 -
