Aye, pikes will be the fork of choice next year I think, I got the revs for 1/3rd of the price a decent set of used pikes so they will do for now.
Can't wait to get out for a blast!
I still think the Lyrik coil RC2DH is a better performing fork than the Pike RCT3.
I'll keep my eyes peeled, cheers.
Didn't get chance to get out at the weekend, but Cannock Chase on Saturday so will see how she rides then.
One thing I do want to look at is some wider rims & new tyres, certainly over winter anyway.
Finally fitted a dropper. Managed to pick up a brand new KS cruxi dropper in 27.2mm dirt cheap....it turned out to be faulty and I managed to get it swapped for an Eten integra.
Next plan is wheels, hopefully hope pro 2 on some form of wide rim.
You haven't tried climbing on one of these have you? It's very hard work!
Climbings hard work on any bike
I can second that. I ride an 04 big hit lol. It's so heavy that if you drop it, it doesn't bounce
Stripping it down & giving everything a good clean & new bearings once the frame is back from the powdercoaters.
