Why do that when one garmin is transferable from bike to bike ?

And as all bikes are marketed with weight - I dont think adding GPS to them would help.

Giant are fitting RideSense cadence sensors to some of their bikes already. You don't have to buy new Garmin sensors for a second bike.

A removable head unit is an advantage but I did like the head unit in the Factor One-77 bike. The unit was mounted in the bars where there would be room for a big battery. It also had integrated lights which I like the idea of as well.

    Will inevitably come with time.

The Canyon Urban bikes with integrated lights powered by dynamos from the wheels are brilliant and don't see why that tech won't work its way into road bikes.

Can see a little lcd screen built into handlebars, weighing a couple of grams and showing what Garmins do now, linked via bluetooth to a phone being created in the next couple of years. then after that probably a similar device connected via 4g to a mobile network doing full navigation, ride tracking and displaying messages all built into your stem.

    it will happen
