I've seen much worst than that. Plenty of life left on those.0

Buy a dental guage from eBay, about £5. Useful for measuring rim thickness, IIRC, when it goes under 1mm, keep a closer eye on it, when it gets to 0.8mm or less, it's time to bin it.
This is only a rule of thumb of course. It's also why I'm migrating to discs on all my bikes as and when I sell them and upgrade.0 -
