I can safely sit in work all day and get away with doing nowt, obviously being military if the shout goes out i'll be a steely eyed killer in a matter of minutes!
Today for instance i asked two questions of the design eggheads that look after Typhoon aircraft that took about ten minutes, either side of that i perused the web concentrating on The Daily Mail (where i form my opinions!), Bikeradar, Wiggle, Crc, Anglo info (for the move to France), Golf monthly and the beeb! Lob a trip to the local coffee shop and the local town to pick up my specs and a tank of fuel £1.07 per litre for diesel!
Then a final look at the web and on the road home for 3Pm!
Anyone more bone idle than that?

No - but I do try.
I get a little annoyed at the bone idleness in the public sector as I feel some of their pay is my money. But hey ho.0 -
Most of us are too ****ing idle to reply to this thread"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

I think of myself as being lazy, then I look at people around me that claim they are working hard. This proves to me that most people haven't got a fookin' clue. Those that don't think they are lazy are the laziest bunch of phucktards I've ever met.
bg may be the exception to prove the rule.0 -
I am legendarily lazy...
today I will set up coding for 12 invoices, and download a report, eat lunch and prep for a ride.. power industry.. legendary!0 -
I am definitely lazy at work. Not through choice, I prefer being busy as the time goes faster, and I feel my life isn't wasting away.
I have literally spent days sat in front of a computer and done nothing but browse the internet. Even better that my minions have done the same thing with me. Being in tech support, if there's nothing broke, there's nothing to fix, and when the budgets are closed, there's sod all we can do.
I hate days of nothing to do, time drags, but I hate days where I have to do something. It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

I do my best to do as little as possible. bg13 - that sounds like a busy day. The trick is looking busy while doing nothing, keeping busy enough for the day to not drag and avoiding responsibility. I feel I have mastered these tasks. Last week I had a few accounts to create, about 7 of them, that should've taken me about half an hour at the most. It took me all week so that I didn't have to do anything else.0

Problem with the military is work isn't steady. I can spend weeks doing very little all day, then all of a sudden I don't I don't see my family for 3 weeks and that doesn't include the 7 month stints of not seeing them.0 -
I'm still in bed.
Does that make me the winner?0 -

Today I've been quite lazy, not through choice more the fact I'm surrounded by idiots.
Removed internet Explorer 11 from four machines and rolled out IE8 probably five minutes work each. Fifth was a total turd, so kicked off a remote rebuild, takes about a day because of encryption but work itself is probably about ten minutes. so 25 minutes in a 8 hour day. Oh an I played fetch with the office dog. He looked bored0
