It's all the same at the front anyway, SRAM/Shimano, double/triple, 7/8/9/10 speed. AFAIK (which means if I'm wrong don't blame me, try Google.)I don't do smileys.

I'll add 5 speed to that too. I have a Deore mega9 trigger running the front of my pub bike.0

Is it a 9 or 10 speed, AFAIK the 9 speed isn't indexed (like the older 8 ) so there is no pull per gear, only the 10 is indexed?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Indexed or not, the cable pull for the mech is the same.I don't do smileys.

He asked for the cable pull between each gear on a gripshift, as the X0 9 speed doesn't have any 'gears' (indexing) it could be any amount hence my reply. It also depends on what he's trying to use it for, (if it's for it's intended purpose he wouldn't need to ask/know), as it has more total pull than needed (to allow for instant indexing as such) then that may cover what he wants to use it for when a bland '9.75mmx2' may not.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

I think the fact he thanked cooldad negates any need for pedantry.0 -
Think about what you said and then realise why it's inappropriate perhaps?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Are you being that dim on purpose so that you can't see it?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Instead of having a dig, go back and read what I wrote and you at least I know are bright enough to understand if you want to! Or I could explain it all if you really want!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
