I regularly upload my rides onto 'old style' Garmin Connect which automatically loads into Strava.

Recently the Garmin Connect site has requested that I change to their new format, this I have declined but I have now noticed that on my last couple of rides while basic stats are shown, egs distance, average speed etc. the graphs for these stats are blank......has anyone else experienced this.

Thanks

Do you actually use garmin connect or just using it as a go-between? My 500 has never played well with garmin connect and refuses to sync with it at all (something to do with a common fault which corrupts some file or other). I find the quickest way to upload to strava is the manual choose file method, quicker than the old garmin communicator plugin that has now been discontinued and no doubt quicker than messing with garmin connect.

Hi Ravey 1981, like you I am only using Garmin Connect as the 'go between' to Strava. Could you explain a bit more fully how you are going direct from Garmin 500 to Strava.

Not that computer savvy....but love collecting the data.

Plug your Garmin in, then go to the Upload button in Strava, choose upload from file, navigate to the activities folder on your Garmin (it'll automatically do this next time), highlight the file and upload. I find this a lot quicker. Having said that my Sync with Garmin connect now appears to be working again but it takes an age to upload.

Thanks everyone for the advice, will try after logging weekend ride. However have now noticed that Garmin Connect has now got all graphs and info displayed for each ride. Seems as though it takes 24-36 hours to display....strange
